City Shop is a chain of gourmet supermarkets in Shang Hai, China that specializes in imported foods from around the world. 80% of their inventory is imported meats, dairy and produce. Their niche market is mostly Europeans and expats who are willing to spend more for first-class service and all aspects of western cuisine while in Asia.
Process
City Shop supermarket design process includes the thorough research of materials proposed for the Interior, architectural renderings of the interior and exterior of the supermarket. The process also shows the development of the city shop logo and the colorful extension of the branding on bags, staff uniforms, vehicle wraps, letterhead, aisle markers and other pieces used throughout the store.
