I.C.I.T.L.F.A.L. “I Love” Project
Project
The “I Love” project is the soft launch for a company called I Color Inside the Lines For A Living. The company was celebrating its first official project—a custom hand painted FENDER Stratocaster, a project in homage of the owners East Coast roots.
Our company was hired to do promotional packages celebrating the release of a custom one of a kind hand painted recently commissioned by our new client.
Having reference to the artists’ studio space, we were granted access we documented his process of creating the guitar while we painstakingly created a kit that celebrated
The promo kit includes a t shirt, stickers, a custom printed guitar pic, an invite disguised as an 80's punk rock zine, a custom varnished box and matching tissue paper
A local artist “TRUST” came to us to promote his newest project. I was designing a custom one off hand painted FENDER TELECASTER and wanted promotion packs to be sent out to his closest friends to coincide with the release party for his new art piece here in Sacramento.
We agreed to film the later stages if the guitar process as well as the promo kit creative process to be a short documentary that looped at the show and could be used on the artists website.
The theme of the guitar was New York. The artist is originally from the east coast and wanted something that would remind him of him early days as an emerging artist in the 80's.
For the kit we borrowed the artists Love for 80's MTV leopard print and used that for the varish on the box ant tissue paper. The die cut heart in the box lid doubled as a window into what the artist "loves" secondly it was a means of engagement as a part of a social post that begged everyone who recieved the to shot images or videos of things that they loved.
Since the project was based around a 3D printed guitar pics with the die cut “I love” logo was fun added tough. The t-shirt design and stickers were developed by the artist especially for this release so level of exclusively but heart felt attention was at an all time high.
We we incharge of creative direction, packaging design, orders, supplies, communication with vendors, project management, fulfillment, social content and documentary.
Everything turned out great. The stakeholders were impressed, as well as friends and family who recieved their promo packs. The guitar itself was impressive to see in person.
More limited edition artist collaborations coming soon.
